Solar - by CSP or CST?
As with many industries and companies. The lanugage used in renewables contains a lot of TLA's (three Letter Acronyms). Concentrated Solar Power (CSP). Which is also sometimes called Concentrating Solar Thermal (CST), uses sunlight to produce large amounts of heat. Which is used for chemical reactions or produce electricity. There are generally four distinct main types of CST systems;- - Fresnel Reflectors (FR), - Parabolic Troughs (PT), - Solar Towers; (ST) and - Solar Dishes (SD).
